About Retro Pixel Racers
Retro Pixel Racers is a fun top-down arcade racing game with a retro style graphics where you control of little cars racing over exciting tracks. Start your engines and prepare for the craziest and most addictive racing game ever. Fast-paced racing game with a fresh interpretation of the 16-bit style. This is an arcade racing game based on games that I loved playing in the arcades growing up. You could say it's inspired by those games, maybe a tribute to them or simply a rip off, any of these could be true!
Are you ready?
I'm a indie game developer and my name is Josep Monzonís Hernández. I love create simple, fun and well designed games. My great inspirations are mostly games from the 8-bit and 16-bit era. I like every aspect of the process involved in making video games: pixel art, coding, game design and drawing. I've worked on several indie games. Retro Pixel Racers is my last solo developed game project and has been in development for the past 1 year.

Unfortunately you can not get any further than level 1. Level 2 has a bug were you cross the line and you don't get you're extra time added on. Really hope this gets fixed as i enjoyed the few minutes I played it. Also as a little tip. If you can, separate audio/sound so we can turn the music down and keep the car and announcer audio.1 found this helpful
AWFUL ripoff of Slicks 'n' Slide, a DOS classic, with all the fun, playability and features taken out. You always start in last place (HATE), yet ALL (!) of the achievements require you to come in first without "crashing" (whatever that means). Coincidentally not one person on Truesteamachievements has unlocked even a SINGLE achievement. I couldn't beat the third track, and why would I even bother, the achievements are bogus as ♥♥♥♥. Oh yeah, and this does not only have no time trial, it doesn't even have track records. LOL how hard can it possibly be to make a fun racer!? People were able to do it in the 90s easily, but apparently not anymore, looking at this and the almost as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Horizon Chase Turbo. Refunded. This is a bottom 10 Steam game.
