With your help, one hopeful child will be able to solve puzzles and share her joy with the other residents, but a single balloon is not enough...
In this adventure game, you have to use your brain to spread happiness by giving away balloons! Use your wits, your environment and, of course, your balloons to cross the city’s streets, factories and sewers in your grand journey of distributing balloons and smiles to everyone!
How can balloons save a whole city? Well, the balloons that you control are not exactly ordinary. You can use them to destroy the environment, glue stuff together and even fly away! You will need to use all these tricks and more to achieve your goal.
But beware, for balloons are as fragile as they come, and hazards are plentiful in this hostile city. If your balloons don’t fly away, they might burst because of dangerous, spiky machinery. Handle with care!

A simplistic 2D platformer, where you play in an setting which seems to be set during the industrial revolution and you bring joy and happiness to the kids by giving them balloons. The puzzles aren't that hard just requires sequential thinking, but sometimes the character phases through the map while jumping which is probably a bug. Nonetheless a nice first game by the developer, give it a try and its also free!2 found this helpful
"Rise of Balloons" is a somewhat charming puzzle game with some hand drawn illustration. The objective of the game is to click around to work out how to get some balloons to some kids. Okay. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Perhaps this should have been released on the mobile app stores or as a browser game where it would have reached a more appropriate audience. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. A side scrolling puzzle game where you control and guide different coloured balloons to help overcome several obstacles per level. As the game progressives, new abilities, new hurdles, and more difficult puzzles are presented; some have linear solutions while others can be solved in a number of different ways. All in all for a game that has very little barriers to entry, beyond needing a mouse, this game is rather fun. There are a few broken levels early on; but these are only the exception and not the rule.
