Robogal is a small-scale, systems-driven indie RPG that leans more on experimentation and customization than on spectacle or traditional storytelling. Developed by Happy Max and published by psmint7, the game presents an unusual premise in which the player takes on the role of a bio-robot creator rather than a conventional hero. Instead of embarking on an epic quest to save the world, the experience revolves around gathering data, building robotic prototypes, and refining them to meet various requirements. This framing immediately sets Robogal apart from more typical RPGs, grounding its identity in mechanical curiosity rather than narrative urgency. The core loop of Robogal centers on collecting prototype data and using it to shape and improve robots built from a roster of distinct character templates. Each of these characters carries different attributes and tendencies that influence how their robotic counterparts perform, encouraging players to think carefully about how data is applied and which traits are emphasized. Progression unfolds through a series of tasks and light puzzle challenges that act as gateways to new data and options. These segments are generally straightforwar…

Robogal is a blend of various puzzles and VN, and all sprinkled with hentai fanservice. An attractive mix (to me) at a budget price. Worth trying, or should you skip it? You play as an unnamed robot constructor, taking orders from clients. Your work requires you to build robot girls based on real women. In order to collect data, you need to locate and interact with target models. Seven women, to be precise. You find them on a city map, where you can click on their pictures. Clicking initiates a VN-style conversation, followed by a puzzle. Puzzles vary a bit. You could be swapping tiles to complete a picture, searching the black screen with a camera to locate your model, mixing colours in a specific order, etc. None of the puzzles pose a real challenge, and the majority can be done in less than 2–3 minutes. After several scenes, you can assemble the bio-robot and move on to another order. There is nothing innovative or creative, but at least there is some variety. Also, after assembling, you can 'test' your creation. Since this is a budget title, my expectations were low. Still, while the puzzles were ok, the English translation sucks. It is better than machine translation, but not…

The highlight of the game for me; https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2717569079 So the mini-games I see are either too easy, mindless, annoying or pointless. Maybe it's translation errors, as some of the text is questionable. It is actually easy to follow what is going on, though no one cares about the story. However, you have to read things to know what you're doing in some of the games. My ultimate unfavorite is puzzle 2, a completely black screen and you just click randomly until you find the person and part of them it wants. It comes up again in later games, basically the same. The screenshots others put up are helpful to know where people can be, but their placement is apparently randomized. So annoying, mindless and pointless. Enjoy going through the whole text each time you have to redo it. Looking at a game screenshot of the potions thing, you'd think it's some sort of riddle. I was looking forward to things like this, yet it's not. You just click them in the order they want you to, then click the button to finish. You can't lose, it's not even tedious, it's just pointless. The only thing that actually had any challenge before i gave up on this was …
