In a future not too far away, humans have finally conquered other galaxies. They are now searching for lands where to place their highly efficient hydroponic farms and grow food.
Embark on a new journey with your team of robots called Beebop 179. Build and manage a new factory, grow delicious plants and survive the mysterious challenges of the planet you chose.
You have landed on a new planet and it is time to build your factory piece by piece. Set up rooms and corridors and add hydroponic machines, lab equipment and decorations to give life to your settlement and start your business.
From fresh green lettuce to sweet blue melons: choose if you want to grow native plants from Earth or explore alien alternatives. Be careful though, it is important to create the right conditions for them to grow.
If you want to expand your establishment, you need to plan your actions carefully. Learn how hydroponic machines work, sell your products to make money and increase production. Lastly, don't forget about the well-being of your robots: create a space for them to relax, socialize and recharge their batteries.

No updates since 2023? I didn't realise this was an unfinished game when I bought it. It has potential, but it seems to have been abandoned. Don't waste money on this as it is.7 found this helpful
I played the demo and enjoyed my time with Roboplant enough to buy the full game when it was on sale. I've played a fair bit and have got to a point where it's repetitive and expanding will only be detrimental to the factory. The early game is really fun with research and having to expanding your farm to grow and fill the harder orders. After a certain point I was able to fill the harder orders quite easily and with 5 plant types my robots are constantly trying to catch up with the work load. It doesn't help that the AI will get stuck in a queue to store items, I've tried having multiple storage locations and having them only accept certain items but the issue still persists and I've had enough of just staring helplessly at them. I got 40 hours out of this and hopefully there will be updates that will address some QOL and the AI pathing. Would recommend grabbing on sale but be aware that it's a bit buggy and late game is almost an AFK sim.3 found this helpful
This game was abandoned mid development. There’s lots of stuff that doesn’t make sense, isn’t clearly defined or just broken, I’ve tried to cover the bigger issues below. I played 17 hours in 2023 during it’s early access and another 63 hours recently. The Steam achievement, Make Profits from Utilities is no longer possible to earn. In the current version of the game, the page to sell water and electricity was removed. The two Steam achievements associate with worker happiness, The Bad Manager & Mister Evil are also no longer possible to earn. Searching through the discussion boards, I found a comment from the Rebelpug dev saying they removed worker happiness due to feedback from players. I ran my save file in the background for 6 hours with 60 robots at 400-535% workload with no charging stations, repair stations, or decorations. They robots still have their moments of unhappiness or nap and recharge power and gears to 30 instead of the full 100. It’s just broken. There is an in-game achievement associated with an arcade machine. This building was removed from the game in the current version of the game. Got this game on sale for about a dollar. Honestly I've played it about 20 hours now and am a hydroponics enthusiast. This game while I'd say is still indie scratches a nitch itch I've had for a while. Most of the other comments about the game being buggy or lacking features are over blown. If you can get this on sale I'd highly recommend it!

Fun game. It's easy to play and to navigate through the game. The game is also very appealing and I like the cute little robots. There's certainly enough game hours in this game.
