✦ AI summary

Players praise Rocket Shipment as a fun, engaging lunar lander-style game with excellent music, solid level design, and useful community features like custom level creation and sharing. However, opinions diverge sharply on difficulty, with some finding it appropriately challenging and rewarding while others describe it as frustratingly unfair due to physics quirks (like boxes being hard to grab and tanks ignoring intended mechanics), making it feel more like poor design than genuine challenge.

I found this game while searching for the NES classic Solar Jetman. This was one of the many games I played to completion as a child. Rocket Shipment is the first game I completed as an adult, and I thoroughly enjoyed every victory and even many failures (e.g., where the collision of objects produced a surprising effect, resulting in what you might call a glorious failure). I loved this game! The game has an excellent soundtrack that plays throughout the menus and while playing. In addition to 35 levels, the game offers the option to create and share your own levels. (I found this feature intuitive and easy to use.) Using the game's workshop, I found great contributions of custom levels by the community (for example, the top rated levels: 00101 and bleh3).

This is a fun arcade game. What you see is what you get.

The boxes can only be grabed by the edge, and there is a map deep down in the levels where you are GUARANTIED damage even tho the game is encouraging a score attack. It is a frustrating game not a challanging one with clearly deliberate design choices to make it so. Also the tanks are the biggest glaring showcase of badly programming the game by default, as with disabled turret, turned completely upside down they can still move left and right and damage you, boxes, or flat out plug entrances, and fuel boxes are unable to hold them back, they can push it. You may think, well just avoid right? well the game specifically tells you could disable them. No you can hidner them at best. Bad programming, bad design, and frustrating gameplay instead of challanging.

I was specifically searching for a game like this, something lunar lander like with something extra. It's not what I hoped it would be, but it is still a very fun game! But beware, it may be just me, but this game is really really hard! I think it was level 8 that frustrated me terribly, it was the first level I really had trouble with and I almost abandoned the game because of it. But I guess level 8 prepared me for what came next because after that level, I went straight to level 11 (at which time I felt I'd played enough for today)

Fun little lunar lander game. You have to maneuver your ship and crates through low-gravity environments where fuel efficiency and planning are more important than speed. Pretty relaxing, but it's definitely not a twitch-reflexes kind of game.
