Game's idea has potential, but currently it has a few problems that just make it not fun to play: - holes are very repetitive, it feels like there's about 10-15 holes in the entire game. Maybe it's because I've only done 5 contracts. On the latest contract I haven't come across any new map I think, - some map conditions immidiately make you lose your entire run, for example: you go with a distance traveled + wall rebound build, you're on the last floor, and you get two holes in a row with a wall rebound limit = you lose, because you can't reroll the floor and you just can't get enough points, no matter what you do, - ball physics are very weird sometimes, especially when going uphill or downhill, - the ball veolcity arrow doesn't seem accurate, I think it may be a lot better if it were projected onto the floor, right now it's simply drawn on screen on top of everything (covering coins, walls, obstacles etc.), - animations/transitions between rooms or scenes are way too slow even on the Fast animation setting. In the current state I'd give this game an 4/10. I'll be watching for updates to give it another chance.2 found this helpful
ROGOLF takes a straightforward mini golf concept and gives it a light roguelite twist, placing it inside an office climb where each run feels slightly different. The changing rules per level, along with upgrades bought between floors, add a welcome sense of progression and strategy. The scoring system, which balances shot cost against coin multipliers, keeps each attempt engaging and gives players a reason to push for better runs. That said, the core mini golf mechanics remain quite basic, and the limited number of course layouts starts to show over time. While the visual style feels deliberately dated, it does little to mask the repetition that sets in during longer sessions. Even so, the overall structure and quirky setting give the game enough charm to make it a worthwhile, if slightly limited, experience.1 found this helpful
Very chill mini golf game with actual challenges. It feels very fun to sometime go against the "normal" way of playing to gain more points with the special cards which adds a lot of fun! would recommend if you like the genre and are open to fun little twists!1 found this helpful
Chill roguelite minigolf where you stick it to upper management using upgrades from your pal the robot corporate smuggler hidden in the elevator (don't ask ^^). The combo system gives good Balatro-style vibes too. Recommended!1 found this helpful
