Throughout each match, you’ll earn cash to spend in the in-game store. Choose how you approach each round -- will you buy a katana to get up-and-personal with your foes, or the Tyr sniper rifle to take them down from afar? You can also unlock high-tech gadgets, ranging from Dima’s favorite explosives to a disorienting tear gas.
Rogue Company is 100% Free to Play. All Rogues can be unlocked free and come with additional free rewards that you can collect just by playing the game. Another game that was cool but died out very fast. I enjoyed the gameplay and collabs but it felt repetitive at times and i often found my sessions being cut short due to boredom.1 found this helpful
Overall rating: 7.5/10 What Rogue Company does well ✅ Excellent gunplay: Shooting feels responsive and satisfying, with each Rogue having distinct weapons and abilities. ✅ Unique third-person perspective: Shoulder swapping and peeking around cover add tactical depth compared to most hero shooters. ✅ Varied Rogues: Different abilities encourage teamwork and different playstyles. ✅ Free-to-play: Easy to try without spending money. Weaknesses ❌ Smaller player base: Matchmaking can be inconsistent, especially in less popular regions or modes. ❌ Balance and bugs: Some players report uneven matchmaking, occasional bugs, and abandoned-feeling development. ❌ Limited updates: The game doesn't receive the same level of ongoing support as larger live-service shooters.

This was a fun game for a long while. They had something and never figured out how to market it to new people. Eventually the devs phoned it in with little to no updates in the way of fixing bugs, but adding skins; not good skins mind you; the paid battle pass stuff became worse over time than the free stuff you got when the game launched. Maybe they patch up the bad and make all the good really shine. This game had/still might have potential to be really big if only it could get a little shine. Sadly it's a Hi-Res game; so the likelihood is almost a guaranteed never. Consider it abandoned, but it's free so it never hurts to see if you can find a match without a cheater. You'll probably have a blast if you do.
The game states that you must be level 25 before participating in ranked matches. Grinding to level 25 takes a very long time, but it makes sense to force people to reach a certain level of proficiency. Once you end up getting to level 25, they say you still can't play ranked until you buy 6 more rogues. If they would have said that from the start I wouldn't have wasted my time grinding to level 25.
