A great game that deserves more attention. I own the board game, but actually think I prefer this digital implementation — it really let's me focus on the dungeon puzzle instead of splitting attention with managing board state. The digital version uses the 1st edition ruleset, it would be great to see it updated to incorporate 2nd edition rules. Not a big deal though as there's not a huge amount of difference.

A fun digital version of a great board game. Gives a really old school tabletop vibe.

Rogue Dungeon is a digitally adapted solo dungeon crawler developed and published by Cerberus Gate Games, drawing heavy inspiration from classic tabletop adventure systems. Rather than presenting a fast-paced action roguelike, it leans into turn-based decision-making, dice-driven outcomes, and methodical progression. The result is a game that feels like a compact digital board game, where every encounter is governed by calculated risks, resource management, and the ever-present uncertainty of a dice roll. At the beginning of each run, players choose a rogue adventurer and prepare to descend into a multi-level dungeon filled with monsters, traps, merchants, and escalating threats. The core gameplay loop revolves around exploring rooms, drawing encounters, resolving combat, and managing limited resources such as health, food, and consumables. Combat is resolved through dice rolls modified by character attributes, meaning that preparation and stat development matter just as much as luck. A strong roll can swiftly dispatch an enemy, while a poor one can leave both sides wounded. This unpredictability keeps tension high, particularly in later dungeon floors where enemies become more fo…

This game is cute. The dice roller is ♥♥♥♥. Streaks of 10s or 1s which ever is death. And it happens regularly enough to be annoying.

Sorry, the dice rolls are just to rigged. The chance to roll a 2 with a D10 seemingly is about 90% the other 10% ire rolling 5 sixes in a row.

Buggy af. I would have finish the campain 10hrs earlier if it wasn't for not being able to command an action before the 1st one has totally resolved to avoid full game crash, loosing your saved game when the game crash or litterally, happened more than twice, game crash just after boss defeat. Being punished for wanting to complete it and forgetting you have to go turtle pace for its slow pocess. Awesome. The game isn't difficult : accept the rng early when it doesn't hurt; burn bosses with rewards; don't use luck to rerollin fights because rng is rigged there if you fail once it will give you the same number or under up to 4times in a row. We see your little programming folks, don'tthink your machine is smarter than us. Probably you neither.
