Dungeon Raid

I like this low stress card based dungeon crawler. Try the demo, you will get the basic idea. The starting knight is a bit difficult, as there are not a lot of options on how to play him. But even in the demo, you can unlock the second hero, the vampire, which takes 150 ash (dead enemy loot) to unlock, so it is a bit of a grind. Like I said, this is a low key relaxing after work game. The vampire has a lot more options on how to go through the game. Unfortunately, you don't transfer loot between the demo and the full game. But the point I want to make here is that if you find the demo reasonably fun, buy the full game, It is a lot more involved with upgrades and replay value.

Games like this make me really wish that steam had a middle option. Overall the game is good. I enjoyed the game, I will put more time in the game but I feel its only fair to point out its short comings. The Good The game is fairly simple, this might seem like a bad thing but not every game should require you to pull out a spread sheet. The overall flow of the game is great, balance looking for treasure with how many fights you can reasonably take. The standard roguelike of greed as much as you can so you can beat the boss. The characters (I've unlocked all but two) all play fairly differently from one another. Each character feels unique and how they approach the challenges of the game are fairly different. The knight really wants to stack armor and mana regen to spam out his spell. The barbarian needs regen to fund his thorns mechanic. Each character has their own play style and it makes the game refreshing for it. The overall style and design of the game looks great. It has its own distinct style and overall I really enjoy it. It's a bit short for the price, but it's an interesting game that will keep you entertained for a few evenings. I'm looking forward to a mobile port :)

nice addicting game, sometimes it bugs but the author patches thing very fast. i enjoy it

The settings menu doesn't pause tha game and actually makes it to where you can still click stuff other than the settings..., also I tried turning the sound all the way down and it didn't mute the game audio...
