About Rolling Valley

This game is a bit like backgammon, but you're dealing with more than just random dice rolls. More unstable elements fill the entire map! But that doesn't mean you can only win by luck, your strategy will be the key to winning the trophy!

More strange grid effects, and they will trigger in a chain. This means that sometimes the situation will be too complicated to predict, trust your intuition, or calmly analyze and win? It's all up to you.

Every character is unique - they all have different abilities, and using them wisely can help you stand out from other players' teams!

As the game progresses, you can unlock more characters and different map contents. Expand your collection, and grow your team. Can you collect all the characters? Come and try it!

"Rolling Valley" is an unusual boardgame-esque game where the objective is to beat other players to the top of a snakes-and-ladders meets backgammon means candyland kind of experience... except the developer didn't bother finishing it. There's no players, but you can botmatch, which is a bit like playing Snakes and Ladders against yourself. What do you do in the game? Roll dice, pick where to go, and ultimately observe the game outcome as determined by RNG. The developers abandoned this 2 years and 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. While I couldn't find this on the mobile app stores, everything about it looks and feels like it's a mobile app designed for mobile phones... for PC gaming enthusiasts, it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mains…

6/10 A snakes-and-ladders like game with lots of stuff added atop. Good: - the basic concept of the game is interesting. Although you do get a random number from a dice roll as input, you can choose which character to move and along which lane (at least at start). So it's a mix of luck and logic - the graphics style is nice overall, for a free game at least - judging by the first few levels, there are lots of mechanics and the game grows to be quite complex, which is good for a PC game - in the tutorial there are helpful highlights where to click, though maybe they should be of some other color, not white So-so: - music is funny but there is just 1 track. After about 15 mins of listening to it over and over it gets on the nerves. The game needs at least several tracks that would play in a random sequence. I'm not sure they should all be in comedy style. After all, it's cheerful for a while during the tutorial levels but in the end you're expected to play this for hours, evens days - the UI has a mobile feel which makes the game look cheaper and more casual than it actually is. UI elements are so huge as if it's a game for phones - English is above average (compared to what one us…
