Rosebaker's Icy Treats - The VR Iceman Sim

While the basic premise of the game doesn't sound like it'd be that entertaining. It does keep me coming back to it for short sessions just to try and unlock more ingredients and levels. It would also definitely make a great introduction to VR as it's simple enough to be easily understood, but has enough complexity to be engaging.

Fun & innovative - a well-made VR game! This is a typical "cooking" game, where you have to prepare the orders of your customers - in this case, you work at an ice cream parlor (or rather, UFO) in space. This is interesting - because you are in space, your ingedients and tools tend to float around. This really gives a nice feeling like being on the ISS, but the developers did not take zero-gravity too literally. Cream and sauces still flow downwards when you pour them, so things don't get too abstract. Speaking of which, the pouring and scooping of ingedients is really fun and gives a satisfying game experience. What I think the game is lacking is a bit of presentation. Everything looks clean and nice, but there could be some more "style" and quality to some materials. But for the low price of $5, I'm not complaining. Also, the tutorial is a bit dry, would be great if there was some quicker way to jump into the game. But once you've understood how to operate your work surroundings, everything runs nicely. Until the customers come and make your day stressful, just like in real life ;-) I definitely recommend trying this!

THIS GAME IS A UNDERRATED HIDDEN GEM! WOW I LOVE THIS GAME AND ITS MECHANICS! Its really fun and I recommend 8/10

I have become one with my scoop and thus one with the universal creaminess. Each new ice cream recipe brings me closer to philosophical nirvana. My machine and I work as one, dispensing sugary treats to intergalactic customers who seem to have descended from the infamous 'Space Dude'. Despite their twisted faces and unsettling voices, I happily serve them in my Creamy Sky Chariot, wrapped up in pure zen goodness.

For the price (~$5), this game is underrated and has a lot of potential. I enjoy the loading screen and the feeling of being in space while making icy treats. The only thing I don't like is the vive side controls to grab things are a little stiff. If you have a different controller, you won't have that issue. The other feature that would make this game even better is if I was able to create more than one ice cream at a time and be able to place the cones down and multitask. If they add that and create a multiplayer mode, I can see this game becoming popular and worth it at a higher price range.

I'd really like it, if it functioned correctly, but it does not. Things started fine, then after a little bit, the hands, the right one in particular, would not go back to their default position. It would remain with the pointer finger out, so when I'd try to grab stuff, it would push it away instead. You can imagine how annoying that is, when you're trying to rush to fill an order. Then after a bit, there were problems holding items. I'd grab them and then they'd just stop moving with my hand. If it worked, I'm sure I'd like it.
