Every night, challengers enter the club to take your crown.In RR, you are the reigning champion of a neon cyberpunk nightclub, defending the dancefloor against escalating waves of rivals through rhythm, movement, and precision.Move on beat. Survive. Dominate.Every action must sync to the music. Move, attack, and dash across a deadly grid where timing is everything. Your BPM is both your health and the song’s tempo: hit the rhythm to heal and speed up the music, miss the beat or take damage, and your BPM drops as you weaken.Chain perfect attacks to build your combo meter and unleash Fever Mode, giving you a short burst of double damage and reduced incoming damage. Defeat enemies to earn EXP and coins, then visit the hidden alley shop to buy permanent and temporary upgrades that shape future runs.The music gets faster. The enemies get meaner. RR is a pretty short, but very unique and fun rhythm game + roguelike hybrid. The mechanics are very unique: synchronizing fighting to the beat of the game, where the BPM changes with your health is extremely novel, and is the best feature of the game. Moreover, the game has a great soundtrack and practically oozes with style. The game itself is rather short, with less than an hour of unique content, but that makes it easy to try it, since it is free and requires no commitment. I think the game is a must try for fans of roguelikes or/and rhythm games. As a person that has never touched a single rhythm or music-based game, this one pleasantly surprised me by how fun and accessible it is, so do not feel intimidated by your lack of experience in either of these genres :)2 found this helpful
I am very bad at rhythm games, but as far as the rouglike elements, the visuals and the music go it's pretty solid.
