As well as the Ad-Lib attack style, there is now Structured-Flexible and Structured-Rigid to choose from.
Clubs will now have budgets for payroll, transfers and ground improvements. Over spending budgets will not be taken lightly by the executive board.

Hands down the best rugby manager game about. It is fairy basic when compared to the likes of FM but if you like rugby and FM style games, this is the one!2 found this helpful
Its very good, lot harder than football manager, Can do training make the team play in style you wish. And various tactics and buying players policy1 found this helpful
why is there no logos and club badges on new game.
Not too bad, I actually like it. But the tactics are badder than in the old game "pro rugby manager", they're weird here. The graphics suck monkey ♥♥♥♥♥ though.
I loved the first RUTM that came out. What a great game that was. The second iteration, RUTM 2017 took some steps back from the first version. Not a problem I thought, I will just continue playing the first version, with much enjoyment. This version, RUTM3, has taken more steps backward. I tried to play it again today but just can't get into it. The search function (for players, staff etc) is tedious; there is no ability to filter on key attributes. This was a feature in the first version; why has it been removed? How difficult would it be to include this feature again? Not very I suspect. Secondly, perhaps the developers could allow a user to design their own dashboard of key attributes that they find useful. Having to swap between general info, physical, mental and technical attributes every time you want to understand a players skillset is massively clunky. And why is it so slow to load / flip between menu's / search for players or staff? Again, clunky. There is also a sense of information overload. Could be because I haven't really been able to get into the game with any consistency. Which is a shame because I really love the concept - I am a big rugby union fan - and I …
if when your going to play a match, the match can be playable like "rugby champions" it would be the best current rugby game. It would be a really simple, but GREAT! game.
