Rugby Union Team Manager 2017

i think this game is not as good as older rugby games that are out there i even think the 2015 version of this game had a better interface but this one got better graphics in the 3d game same you could not out the games together

This is honestly the game with the least intellect I have come across. No matter what changes I make to the squad, to the tactics, to the coaching set up, I cannot seem to win a game. I tried starting a campaign with Munster 3 times - after the first time I reached out to RUTM 2017 forums for tips and tricks which I duly implemented. These tips included culling my squad down to 25 max, hiring 5+star coaches, selecting particular tactics and upgrading my facilities. Upon completing these actions in my 2nd & 3rd time round, I could still not win many games. This is honestly the best rugby manager game out there, but that's because it is the best of incredibly brutal, well bellow average rugby games. It looks like it was developed by an 18 year old student who doesn't comprehend the game of rugby union. The creators of this game have robbed me of 30 odd euro that I would rather have given to the catholic church. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I would plead with anyone reading this who is thinking of purchasing this game, to stop - think - breathe in and out for 5 seconds - and then realise that you have better things to do with your lives. It's a good step forward for rugby management games. There's still a fair way to go and with a modest budget to say the least it will never compete with football manager, however I will always support games like this as long as they continue to improve. Fingers crossed future versions are made!

Love this game, a bit basic but great. The match engine is a bit buggy, my own players running back to their try lines and putting the ball down on his own line which is frustrating. Some of the attributes are a bit funny, Leigh Halfpenny only a 66 for kicking but this is without a doubt the best rugby sim about! Would be amazing if there was an updated version with a bit more functionality and bug fixes in the ME

It's not a GOOD game, but it's very detailed. If you like selecting players for teams and allocating resources, you'll love this.

Fun game only downside being that the processing time for team changes at end of week can be frustratingly painful as well trying to select teams for international squads, I had enough time to make some lunch
