Recommended ★★★★☆ Hours Played: 4.2 Active Mummy is a fun little platformer that surprised me with how addicting it is. You play as a mummy with a unique twist—you can climb walls and even move along ceilings, which really changes how you approach each stage. Gravity is always waiting to punish you though, so you’re constantly balancing clever movement with careful timing. The levels start off simple but get harder fast, with mines, spikes, and traps placed just right to test your reflexes (and patience). Collecting all the diamonds to open the portal is a satisfying loop, and each new stage feels like a tougher puzzle-platforming challenge. It’s not a long game, but it’s got that “just one more try” feeling. If you like skill-based platformers that keep you on edge, Active Mummy is definitely worth a play.

I refuse to believe that a human was behind this monstrosity. Only an alien race with no grasp of human motor skills or basic fun could have designed gameplay this cursed. Every jump, every move, it feels like the game is actively conspiring against me. If this was meant to be an ancient mummy’s curse, congratulations, it worked. The only thing I unwrapped here was my sanity. 0/10... I’d rather be trapped in an actual tomb.

10/10 – Best 50 cents I’ve ever spent I picked this up for just 50 cents and went in with very low expectations, but it ended up being a genuinely great surprise. I tend to like games like this, but Active Mummy is far too short and easy to be worth bothering with. I like the sound and graphics, but the game play is overly simplistic and there's basically nothing challenging. I beat it in five minutes.
