About Rusted Sea
1963. The bombs fell. The ice caps melted. The Bots won. Humanity’s last stand isn't on the surface—it’s in the crushing depths below the sea. You are Cade Callahan, a fresh recruit for the Rusted Retaliators. Your mission: complete the R.U.S.T.E.D. protocol and turn the tide of the war against the mechanical SeaBot legion.THE SURVIVAL LOOP Rusted Sea combines underwater exploration with a satisfying extraction economy:
- Feed The Replicator: You are a scavenger at heart. Collect scrap metal and debris floating in the wreckage of the old world. Feed it into your Replicator to instantly print ammunition, batteries, and essential survival consumables.
- The Pressure Point Economy: The Retaliators don't work for free. Locate volatile Nukelium deposits and extract them. Send the payload back to command to earn Pressure Points.
- The Oceanic Industries Armory: Spend your hard-earned Pressure Points at the SHELL.E Terminal. Unlock guns,s gear, and vehicles that you can’t craft in the field.
- Pilot the Deep: Tired of swimming? Purchase and deploy a variety of underwater vehicles, from the agile Rusted Riptide to the sidekick SCWID.
- Tools of the Trade: Wield a vast array of 1960s gadgets. Use your Welder for repairs, the Drill for mining, and high-caliber Torpedo Gun for when the SeaBots get too close.
The SeaBots are evolving. They are learning. Load your weapon, check your oxygen, and get to work, Callahan.

The project has piqued my interest. Yes, the graphics and animations are simple, but the idea is unique. However, both the demo and the release suffer from constant crashes, making it impossible to explore or progress further.8 found this helpful
Its an interesting game. I liked the concept it convinced me to play it. Unfortunately I haven't played it for very long and I've ran into a couple of issues. I'm not sure why such a simple game takes a few minutes to compile shaders and its already nearly crashed twice. I'm a little disappointed in a few gameplay mechanics so far. You have to aim your character with an invisible mouse most of the time. The tutorial kinda vague and the fact that the intro is AI generated is a huge turnoff for me. It makes me wonder what else in this game is generated with AI. Kinda gives me vibes of a janky mobile game that you would play for a little while and then forget about. Ill probably still play it a little more since this was a gift from a friend but I probably wouldn't buy it myself.2 found this helpful
