About Rusty Ride

Embark on an exhilarating adventure as a rugged veteran in the driver's seat of a battle-worn vehicle that's seen better days, yet harbors a heart of steel. This isn't just any decrepit car — it's a roaring beast equipped with a formidable tank cannon and a high-powered jetpack, ready to defy both age and gravity.
Journey through a procedurally generated world that unfurls new challenges and vistas with each play through.
Unleash chaos as you obliterate obstacles in your path, transforming your once humble vehicle into a powerhouse of destruction with a plethora of upgrades awaiting to be discovered. Flex your strategic muscles as you decide whether to obliterate your enemies in a rain of cannon fire or soar to new heights to reach previously inaccessible areas.

Since Unity is now fucked up, I decided to semi cancel this game.
Now it will be completely free, so they don't make any money from it.
But now the game will be only 1 level long. I might continue the project and 100% complete it if I don't have anything better to do with my life, but now I'll probably start a new game on UE5 or Godot

"Rusty Ride" is an abandoned 2D side scrolling "rolling truck physics" game based off common Unity tutorials for making such games, but the developer at least tried to do something with it instead of just copy + pasting the template. Unfortunately they gave up and abandoned the game in a completely unfinished state... and that's ok too, except the left it up on Steam deliberately to pollute the place with unfinished garbage. Yes, despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There'…
🚗 Rusty Ride - A Free Chaos Ride Worth Your Time! 🎮💥

🎯 First Impressions
Sometimes you stumble upon a hidden gem that asks nothing but your time. Rusty Ride is exactly that - a free-to-play 2D action adventure that delivers surprising amounts of fun without touching your wallet. 💰 The concept is simple yet addictive: drive a heavily armed vehicle across procedurally generated landscapes while causing absolute mayhem. 🚀
🎮 Gameplay Experience
The core loop feels satisfyingly chaotic. ⚡ Your vehicle comes equipped with a jetpack and tank cannon, creating interesting combat dynamics. Navigating through rough terrain while managing both movement and firepower requires genuine skill. 🎯 Each run feels different thanks to the procedural generation, keeping the experience fresh even after multiple sessions. 🔄 Controls are responsive and intuitive. 🕹️ The physics system adds weight to your vehicle, making every jump and landing feel meaningful. Combat strikes a nice balance between challenging and fair - enemies won't destroy you instantly, but careless driving will definitely be punished. 💥
🎨 Visuals & Audio
The art style emb…

This game lacks quality and quantity. Developer seems cool though.
