✦ AI summary
Players are divided on this vehicular combat game. Those enjoying it praise the cool weapons, nice graphics, boss fights, and fun Mad Max-style action, with some finding it surprisingly immersive and worth the full price. However, detractors criticize the repetitive gameplay loop of driving between stations, empty world design, samey enemy variety, and underwhelming anomaly mechanics that feel tedious rather than rewarding.
I played the demo when it first came out and was in love with this game back than, in its current state of 0.2, I gotta say I'm still loving it. Time seems to just slip away with every new unlock or task. My only complaint is that there are just not enough tracks on the ost and so the music gets really really repetitive fast.
I would recommend this game. FUMES rocks! Its vehicle mayhem that reminds me a bit of things like Twisted Metal or whatever the Mad Max game is called but in indie form. It has a fun vibe and it has the price tag of a small indie studio (which is amazing what you can get out of the price). Although I don't play coop, I feel like it would make the game even more of a blast if you had a gang to roll around with. Last big bonus for me, the game launches in like 10 seconds and the "press start menu" literally loads you right into the game. You can "press start" and play in 10 seconds. Amazing.
Its amazing, very good game. It needs some optimalization, when you play 2h+ at once, FPS drop massively on COOP, same on Windows and Linux. but overall amazing experience. Im Loving it. Works 100% fine on Linux
This is the most realistic depiction of how my father used drive to work on the S7 "deathmatch" "highway" in the 90's. It's all truth! No lies here, ask him how his walk to school looked like! Those were a different times he says and I don't believe him! Surely he must exaggerate at least a little bit, right?
I recommend this for people who like to just shut there brain off. The game and art style is amazing and i love how there did it. The combat to me feels good and smooth. They do tend to break pathing or stand still, but other times its decent. Sometimes your car can flip or drift way to far, but that's mostly since i don't have good control/handling. The bosses are amazing beside a few since they are small and are very weak. The small ones get stuck, while the massive ones. You get really good combat and sometimes feels Intense while other times it could feel lackluster. Overall: 8.5/10
can't wait for it to be finished to play more.
