Boring, slow and almost empty. Take from Legend of grimrock only corridors, only around 30% monsters and slow their attacks to a crawl, so you can fight doing "step back, step forward" tactic. Put encumbrance system and boring level up system. Make controls uncomfortable and don't fix the game so it doesn't save settings, forcing you to change controls everytime you start the game.1 found this helpful
Maybe Legend of Grimrock one and two spoiled me but this game isn't doing itself any favors. Pretty boring exploration / areas / enemies. I guess "maze" means lots of dead-ends . . .
Pretty boring and takes a lot of patience. Game was purchased shortly after release and only managed 2.5 hrs.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER RUZAR GAME!!! LIfe stones has a serious issue with clickable area in game and menus being off. Dark stones has a serious graphical issue with its INVENTORY window being glitched.
once again, big fan of every Dungeon Crawler out there. Dungeon Master is the King, Eye of the Beholder might be the Queen (together with Legend of Grimrock). Ruzar is pretty nice, not remarkably good, but nice. I like the snowy setting, even tough it promises a bit more than it can keep. You’ve got your classic items, a trader, lots of dungeons, nicely animated monsters, little bit of magic. You’ve also got far to easy battles and rather stupid monster ai. But guess what – I don’t care. for someone who played every dungeon crawler out there this game might be a snack. But a tasty one, so give it a try!
Ruzar is a first person dungeon crawler that is simple with little secrets here and there. You can choose to become a mage, warrior or archer. This is a short game and thank god as it is becoming repeatative and get kind of bored towards the end. Maybe is because i choose a warrior? Anyway, i recommend it as it does not have much bugs but is not really fun. Rate it 5/10.
