Sarcophag

Sarcophag is a really bad match 3 game that really has no enjoyable aspects to it. To start, the match 3 gameplay doesn't even have any power blocks when you match 4 or 5... a basic thing to these types of games. There also isn't anything else to do, and the 5,000 achievements are way too much. My Steam crashed while I was waiting for a couple hundred achievements to finish flowing through. I wouldn't recommend anyone pick this game up.

Sarcophag is a simple match-3 puzzle game with a horror theme. The idea is familiar: match objects together, clear the board, and try to get the highest score possible. Instead of a normal colourful puzzle setting, it uses a darker style with a sarcophagus and zombie theme to give the classic formula a different look. The best thing about Sarcophag is that it is easy to understand. Anyone who has played a match-3 game before will know what to do straight away. The controls are simple, the rules are clear, and it works well as a casual game you can play for a few minutes at a time. The horror theme is a nice change from the usual match-3 games. The animations and atmosphere give it a little more personality than a basic puzzle clone. The music also helps create a more unique feeling, even though the gameplay itself remains very familiar. The two game modes, Endless and Time Mode, give you a little bit of variety. Endless mode is good if you just want to relax and play, while Time Mode adds more pressure by making you think faster.
