About Savage: Ultimate Boss Fight

Savage is a single-player action game that allows players to experience MMORPG-style boss battles. Two characters, the Paladin and the Archer, each fulfill their roles and take on formidable enemies in battle.
This game, which focuses on boss battles, requires no tedious pre-battle preparations or boring wait times for matchmaking. Dive into ultimate boss fights immediately after starting the game! This game is for players who:
  • Love high-end MMO raids
  • Enjoy learning boss mechanics
  • Prefer mastering fights alone

No tedious preparations! Dive straight into boss battles

  • In MMORPGs, leveling up and gathering equipment are usually necessary preparations. However, in this game, which focuses on boss battles, players can challenge a boss immediately after starting the game.
  • There are about 30 types of boss battles available, including high-difficulty battles that could be considered endgame content, all of which can be played solo.
  • There's no need to wait for team members to assemble. You won't be bothered by the need to communicate with other players. Enjoy battling formidable foes on your own to your heart's content.

A unique gaming experience controlling two characters simultaneously

  • The battle progresses in real time, with two characters each fulfilling their roles to defeat the boss. Typically, the character not controlled by the player is either managed by the CPU or another player, but this game is different. You will control both characters simultaneously in real time.
  • For example, in terms of movement controls, the left stick on the gamepad controls the Paladin, while the right stick controls the Archer, allowing intuitive operation of each character with your left and right hands respectively. (Keyboard and mouse controls are also available.)
  • This control scheme enables a game experience similar to MMORPGs, where the battle progresses from multiple character perspectives simultaneously, even though it's a single-player game.

Wonderful gameplay challenge, clearly inspired by FF14 to capture the challenge without having to deal with the people. Feels like a passion project that was made by someone who had played FF14 and wanted to recapture the fun of the raids without the usual MMO hassle. The controls are simple but can be very confusing at times as you operate both characters at the same time, when it comes to ability use this is fairly simple but movement can take some getting used to and even after clearing all the fights (minus the no checkpoint or Rank A mob hunts) I still occasionally walk into a death wall as my brain gasses out and I move the wrong character the wrong way. That's part of the experience, for however often it happens it's not really the end of the world, just reset and try again. The fights are reasonable short, always around 6 minutes (the mob hunts are 12 but you get a checkpoint midway). That's where this feels good as a former FF14 Player, the pace is yours to set, wipe as much as you want then take a break, or grind it out. There's no partyfinder to wait for a group to fill or getting people of various skills, just you. You also don't need to worry about things like DP…

This is one of the best if not THE best game inspired from mmorpg-type of battles. You go in with a party, to each have their own responsibility, and everything combines into this magical dance. As someone that does high-end content in FFXIV (which I assume this is greatly inspired from), this does gave you that certain itch in which you will never get from another game. You have two classes that you control at the same time, a paladin and an archer. The paladin deals close ranged attack and able to erect a shield that can mitigate around them and later on, gaining another ability that can summon a shield on the archer. The archer deals far ranged attack and able to heal (lowest health percentage-based prioritized). This is simple at the first few battle as I am certain you're not used to control two things at the same time, so for those that's already good at it, it might come as a slog, but push through and you'd be able to see some of the most fun mechanics, that being a love letter to the FFXIV-inspired bosses, and even moreso later, you'd be seeing something even more unique and original (that I wish FFXIV would be inspired back plsplspls) They even updated with mor…

very nice game to play blind, although a bit confusing at times controlling 2 characters. done all bosses minus ''no checkpoint'' runs within 40h.

A fresh and extremely well executed concept with more than enough content for the price asked. It may sound overwhelming, having to keep track of two different characters at once, but it's nothing that a normal person can't do without a bit of practice. It's fun, it's cute, it's worthy of a lot more attention than what pathetically little it got.
