SCP Studies

• Inception: SCP: Studies started as a side project in late 2021 to learn unreal as I worked with Aethon after my short time working on SCP:Unity as a minor developer. I started with zero knowledge in the engine, and only 3-D knowledge. However I enjoyed learning visual scripting, sound design, UI and everything else that comes with it so I decided to start working on SCP Studies as my main project.

• Gameplay: SCP: Studies is a first person game where you interact with SCP's, these interactions can vary from puzzles to upgrades, showcases, and yes of course horror. An evacuation has just been under way, leaving most of the systems still running but they will fail over time. This includes containment chambers, where you can experience SCPs in an interactive way and change the ill-fated facility for the better or don’t and let everything fail in a classic total containment breach. Try to study as many SCPs as you can find and get out of the facility with your mind intact.

Setting: You play as a Level 1 Researcher, as far as the Foundation knows, in the early 90’s. Site-191 is underground in the Midwest USA as a fake Seed Vault. Use some retro tech and alternative versions of SCPs to get what you really came for.
