About Scrollonoid
In the constellation Cetus, near the star Tau, lived and prospered a
civilization the Depths of Space researchers and engineers.
In order to populate the nearest solar system, 3D printer has
been created. The unique space station carrying billions
of microscopic drones-builders. Drones were landing on planets to
build cities, using planets own resources.
As a result of AI error, that occurred during the testing phase, 3D
printer went out of control and began printing houses for planets
orbiting Tau star system. Giant protective shells deprived them of
light. Aiming to keep the fruits of their years labor, the creators
decided to apply a fix for AI of 3D printer.
Clearing the planets along the way, the team of engineers is heading
towards the Star, where the amazing machine is building its latest
creation - Tau's Orbital Home.
Another Breakout clone that tries something different but fails somewhere along the way. After completing each stage you scroll up to the next one. Dozens of obstacles and unbreakable objects makes the gameplay rather slow as you try to hit that last block. Ball movement is a bit weird sometimes and it get stuck too often. Levels are interesting but also quite troublesome in gameplay. During game I encountered a bug where I could still play without balls (pun intended). Visuals remind of something like a flash games from early 2010 but that's ok because they're complex and makes you analyse the stage for a while. Setting is futuristic like with fans, lasers and other explosive chimichangas. Controls are working good with mouse and controller. Music is seriously serious and robot like. Overall balls are the weakest point of this game (pun intended).
14 found this helpful
good idea but needs improvements. there are to many undestroyable objects that just hinder you from reaching blocks resulting in levels lasting WAY to long. if your going to place so many unbreakables please give more control over the ball.7 found this helpful
Review from playing for about 30 minutes. First feeling is that the game is too slow-paced and lacks regular action and progression. Too much time waiting for a few last items to be bumped off the current map. Didn't classic Arkanoid set a time limit to keep progression occurring and avoiding the feeling of waiting too much? Also, the players ability to shoot (rockets or lasers) is too rare and too limited (at least on the early levels I played). I feel this game has so much potential. Hopefully the developers will make a few tweaks to the game to bring it to life. Also, consider a tutorial or other explaination of what different things are and do. For now, it is just too lack-luster to recommend. I am certainly open to re-evaluating the game if changes are made.3 found this helpful
1. Starts from the beginning lvl when dies. 2. have too much undestroyable objects and spend very much time.2 found this helpful
Excellent game. Good graphics, different sound track for each puzzle screen, and it's not just smashing bricks and nothing else. Each puzzle screen is unique in it's own way. If you like these kind of games then I highly recommend this one.1 found this helpful
