Seashell will take between 1 and 2 hours to fully complete. Though we understand there may be refunds, your time is more important than your money. We’re grateful you spent some of it with us.
From the Team
We’re a team of just two developers who wanted to try something different. Though Seashell is far from a huge game filled with features we’re very proud of what we’ve made. You can play our game for cheaper than a beachside fish and chips, and if you find it relaxing, interesting and fun, nothing would make us happier than to hear about it. A sweet, cozy game about shell collecting which both teaches you about shells, and has a couple of puzzle-like attributes towards the end. I generally don't love puzzles, but I didn't mind figuring all of them out barring one, which thankfully has a Guide. The animation is really pretty, and I like the variations in the shells. The way to progress into getting the legendaries is interesting and thoughtfully done. It ran pretty smooth though I found tilting the shells a little frustrating to get a look at the iridescence, so stopped doing it (I think it was just the directionality, which was opposite to the way my brain works so it felt like trying to work something out in a mirror).
Absolutely delightful experience. I wasn't expecting much from it, but the gotta catch 'em all aspect and the light puzzle elements are such a genius combination here; rather than getting bored and exiting the game, I had my eyes peeled for certain kinds of shells, and I was determined not to quit until I got 100%. It was quite a peaceful hour and a half, and my only wish is that it was even longer! Definitely worth your time and money, especially if you need to decompress.
[h3] Achievement Hunting Rating 5/5 [/h3] A pleasant simple puzzle game where you wait for shells to wash up on shore to collect them. You should be able to 100% in about 2 hours depending on luck. Very relaxing!
such a fun game! i had a blast with it. its on the shorter side, but for the price, you can't beat it. the only gripe i have is it was very confusing at first. the puzzle aspect isn't explained to you, so i didn't know what i needed to do to bring out more shells. there's a wonderful guide on the community page if you got stuck like me, though! overall, i loved it so much.
This is such a nice and relaxing game, I heavily suggest having the achievement guide up while you play if you want to find all of the shells. 7/10
I really enjoyed this, though I do think the hints for the special shells are really confusing. I did get frustrated enough to look at the guide, and I'm pretty good at puzzles! Anyway, other than that I really enjoyed just vibing with the waves and pretending I was in Florida shelling along the beach.
