About Second Humanity - (Capítulo 1)

"Excellence has a price... and your mind is the currency." On the surface, Second Humanity seems like the ultimate school drama in a prestigious Colombian academy. As the new student in Class 02, you are surrounded by prodigies: the conciliatory Eva, the provocative Caelum, and the spectral Isoria. But beneath the marble walls of Humanity School lies a dystopia where survival depends on your ability to exploit the weaknesses of others—or perhaps, finally understand who 'They' truly are.Key Features:
  • Narrative Duality: A story that oscillates between school normalcy and a high-stakes Alternate Reality Game (ARG).
  • The Mind's Chessboard: Every dialogue is a strategic move. Your words can build Affiliation, prove Superation, or condemn you to Submission.
  • Three Routes, Three Mental Fates: From becoming the "Mastermind" who controls logic and networks, to falling into a psychological horror ending as a functional "weak-minded" pawn.
  • No Lessons, Only Trials: Face the student leaders. Observe their cracks, tear away the knowledge, and prove your mind is the strongest in the institution.
"Will you trust those competing against you since day one? The experiment has begun."

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's unique atmospheric blend and appreciate its short, completable length, though some find the 2-hour runtime feels underdeveloped. The main frustration centers on unclear dialogue translations that lead to unexpected character reactions, making it difficult to understand what dialogue options actually do, combined with a lack of clear rules or objectives that leaves players confused about what they're supposed to be working toward or avoiding.

The game is a strange blend of Classroom of the Elite and LOCAL58. The game takes around 2 hours to finish, depending on the effort you want to put in on the minigames. The translation of the dialogue options feels off. For example, the Eva character walked up to my character and said she wants to know about how I handled a situation earlier. The first time around, I went with the "indifference" option, because I thought my character was going to blow her off and get to learning some information on his own. Nope! Apparently, my character went apologetic and Eva thought he wants her protection. What? Speaking of which, the game doesn't really give any rules or stakes. The game says that the rules and information are not given for free, and must be found or taken. This applies to the whole situation in the school, too, since no one even mentions what the win condition could be. A loss condition is briefly mentioned at one point (I guess losers are erased from history?), but no one is giving this the attention it deserves. The school doesn't seem to take place in reality. So, if my character went full school shooter and went full Solid Snake on the students, would he be arrested? I…
