About Secret Shuffle
Gather some friends and put on your headphones: Secret Shuffle is a social deduction party game that combines a dance party with 10 hilarious games and over 20 curated music packs. Through various games, you are challenged to spot other players dancing to the same music, to uncover who doesn't hear any music but dances anyway, to freeze and stand perfectly still when the music pauses, to dance to the sounds of kitchen appliances, and much more.
To get started, you'll need between 4 and 60 players, each with their own phone, the free Secret Shuffle app from the App Store or Google Play, and headphones. Set up the steam version of Secret Shuffle on a big screen and have everyone join the party in their app following the on-screen instructions.
One player –\the MC\– selects one of the 10 games and a music pack. Once everyone is ready, the round kicks off with a brief explanation of the game followed by the start of the music. What happens next depends on the chosen game. Secret Shuffle includes 10 games, with Fakers, Split, and Statues (all three explained below!) often being crowd favorites.
Everyone dances to the same music, except for one player; the faker. The faker doesn't hear any music but instead acts like they hear the music, trying to remain undetected. At the end of the round, everyone points at who they think the faker is... and then the faker is revealed!
Half of the players dance to the same music. Find each other, dance standing together, and find out at the end of the round if you were indeed listening to matching music.
Freeze when the music stops! The slower you freeze and the more you move while frozen, the more you will 'crack'. The goal is not to get cracked.
Besides Fakers, Split, and Statues, the game includes Pairs, Leader, Groups, Possessed, Fakers++, Tree Huggers, and Speaker.

This is a fun party game. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1. You have to download an app. Unlike jackbox or other games of this type, you need a dedicated app to play. I was a little annoyed that you have to have your guests download an app that they will never use outside of this single event. The only bright side is that the app is a relatively small sized download and it doesn't leave a large footprint in resource usage. 2. There are a bunch of different game modes. Some are better than others. It's not just the faker game, but that's probably the funnest. 3. Don't expect long sessions of play. After about 30 minutes, you'll either be too tired or too played out to continue. But the 30 minutes you do play is fun. 4. The game doesn't keep score like Jackbox does. Although some of the game modes are competitive, it seems like the objective is really just to have fun. 5. Everyone I played with joined the game fine, but the app on my phone wouldn't let me enter text to input my name. Therefore, I couldn't use my phone to play. Strange. A really funny time with friends. One of the more unique takes on the jackbox-esque party games. It is probably just about worth the £10 price; if they add more songs/music packs it would definitely be a plus as the music is just okay right now.12 found this helpful
