About Secrets of Magonia
In this tower defense you enter the world of Magonia and defend it against hordes of humans, orcs, ogres and other evil forces. Fight in green graslands, dusty deserts, rocky hills, lush forests and icy tundras, adapting your strategy to the terrain and the enemy forces. Call down meteors from the sky or call reinforcements to assist you in the battle. Expand your arsenal of towers and equip them with items you loot from mighty bosses. Level up your house and learn skills to improve your towers or spells.

It's a good game. The plus side includes good graphics, complex structure, many levels and upgrades along the way. There are, however, a number of negatives that will bother many players. The layout and process is not clear and perhaps too complicated to be fun for a long time into the game, if you last that long. Although I have a pretty sophisticated computer, the time to load the next stage or any stage was very long - 2-4 minutes. This made the game-play tedious and boring. This was so even after I set the graphics at a medium level. It is not my favorite game, and I don't rank it among the "best of the best", but still, I think many TD fans will like it, but, I venture to say, that most won't unless it is fixed. I want to add that the developers seem to have put in lots of time and effort and have a genuine commitment to the game. Because of that, I think they may fix it.2 found this helpful
This is a hidden gem. It took me a few hours, but I eventually became overwhelmingly addicted to this little game. I love the Reforge system and how using it to equip your towers with items can and does make a huge difference in how effective your towers are. It has a Diabloesque quality to it. You do repeat maps a lot, but the incentive to do so with the leveling system makes it a pleasure rather than a pain. You can up the difficulty of earlier maps to get better rewards and more XP. To get some special skills, you are required to beat a map on a particular difficulty level, or under a certain time limit. Normally, I despise time limits on missions, but this system feels right. If you prepare yourself, forge items consistently, level properly, you never really feel overwhelmed and time limits aren't really a problem. Negatives are of course the graphics are not state of the art. It's sometimes difficult to find your towers just by looking at the map. The UI can be frustrating at times. I still cannot understand why they didn't implement a way to see which items are currently equipped on your towers in the Reforge screen.
