About Seedborne Soldiers
Seedborne Soldiers is an auto battler roguelike presented in the sweet, nostalgic style of a low-polygon 90s game.Draft a team from a pool of 75 (!) characters pulled from across the cosmos, and fight to escape dangerous Dreamworld. Mix and match from a huge selection of Traits, Trinkets, and upgradeable Equipment to capitalize on powerful synergies and overcome unique enemies and bosses.

- Field units with matching traits to power up your team
- Collect 3 copies of a unit to combine them into a level 2 (9 total copies make a level 3)
- Draft 5 tiers of units; higher tiers are more powerful but rarer and costlier
- Upgrade equipment and collect trinkets to maximize your team’s potential
- Conquer 3 Maps filled with 30+ enemies (plus a variety of non-combat encounters), each capped by a deadly boss
Each character has a unique Spell, and many have an additional unique Effect.
Use the map to navigate away from bad RNG into broken combos.
Peek at the Traits of upcoming units, collect items which help find matches, and utilize the Harvest system at Shelters to shore up your team. Sadly, this game mistakes ultra sponge/ungodly healing as the only difficulty. Unless you know every single unit, what does it do and how it can work from memory you just WILL NOT have a good time, you just wont, Getting units is completely unintuitive and limited, which, in autobattlers is THE CORE of the experience, rolling, getting those lucky rolls, none of that here, its limits on limits on limits on limits, expecting you to enjoy the drip feed like some masochist.2 found this helpful

This is an amazing autobattler that you should definitely try the demo of ASAP. I love the genre, and I've played a lot of games in the genre, including: The Last Flame, Esports Godfather, Backpack Battles, Astronarch, Path of Achra, Super Auto Pets, Teamfight Tactics, DotA Underlords, and more. The graphics are based on a certain era, so the demo will give you a great sense of whether this is your type of game. This is a labor of love by people who are truly passionate about this type of game, and I haven't had this much fun since I did all the challenges in The Last Flame. The PROS: - Seedborne Soldiers has a ton of different traits and adheres to the classic autobattler formula of 'getting more units in a trait family to power up those units' but has 22 different traits and allows you to graft traits onto units. If you absolutely love that Light + Sage unit but have a Fire team, just graft them with Fire. Now they have three traits! There's also a great balance of 'main' traits that are the core of your strategy and supporting ones that you splash into. Exactly as advertised on the tin, an autobattler roguelike with nice comp variety. If you are like me and roguelike + X genre is already a good sell and you enjoy TFT, then I think you ought to give this a try.
