If I understand correctly this was a mobile gocha game. They basically removed all the gocha mechanics and made it into a single player game. From what I have played its basiclly tower defense/team building game. Game play is pretty fun, but really dose need a English release.

I've technically received this game for "free" as I did not purchase it on Steam, but received a product code for participating in the crowdfunding (which cost more than the game). Previously a gacha game on DMM, Seiken Manifestia blends interesting tower defense and RTS mechanics together with cute units and a pun-filled story if you can read it. I have guides available in English for those wanting to know more or how to play. The following is a combination of my experience on DMM after four long years of service, and the Steam re-release. Pros: [list] [*]Balance - While the original game was a gacha game, where a lot of pay to win mechanics exist, the game was always balanced around being completable with the free units. There were always experienced players posting guides on how to clear everything with only free units. Some units were very strong, but no one felt OP to the point of being mandatory. As a former player from DMM, it's glad to see this game still remaining on Steam. Interesting tower defense game.

Although there is no english translation, Google translate and the game's wikia (on wikiwiki.jp)+the awesome Steam guides are enough to overcome any language barrier.
