Sentimental K blends the dynamic, intuitive gameplay of 3D action games with the unpredictable and ever-changing nature of roguelikes.
Players must defeat enemies and progress towards their goal using 『Weapons, Skills, and Artifacts』 obtained from various situations. If players die during their journey, they lose all their rewards and must restart from the beginning.
With 5 weapons, 78 skills, 132 artifacts, 13 bosses, and randomly generated dungeon layouts, each playthrough is unique. You'll need to find your own optimal configurations to make it all the way to the end!

It isn't bad in the sense that it doesn't work. Attacking is responsive, abilities seem to do what they say. Although I did have an issue with one would randomly freeze the player character. There is a sense of jank to it though. The main reason reason I don't recommend is because it is lacking any character or soul. It is just void of any identity. Just seems like a school project that someone put together in a month and decided to sell. A+ school project don't get me wrong, but still a school project. The "Action camera itself is a pain too, there is a reason all the good top down games don't do something like that. Interacting with giant question marks that seem to be in place of NPCs? The enemy character models are different styles so clearly taken from some asset store. Which is fine in and of itself but since they are don't really go together cohesively is just makes it feel the dev just wants to make a quick buck. Honestly it's kind of annoying to play. Most of the time your combos knock enemies out of your range so you whiff attacks. There is almost no map variety and the ones that exist are beyond boring. The animations look cheap and aren't really all that impressive, the weapons have very little detail and the progression tends to feel more punishing rather than rewarding as you're constantly replacing skills to try and find "better" ones that aren't really better. It's also TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS US!? No. Not worth it. Don't buy it.6 found this helpful
I am writing this review specifically to counter some of these other negative reviews I have seen. I see some people complaining about how the art style seems disconnected and disjointed. there is an obvious reason for that, the premise of the game is emotion, so the main character has a more photo esc appearance, and the levels and enemies are designed to illicit various aspects of emotions. Some people are saying that the game is unfairly hard. I am finding I can learn all the fights enough to fairly consistently beat them on easy and normal, and well, hard is hard... duh. Over all, I have bought a lot of roguelite/likes recently because I just enjoy the genre, of them this one is the one I keep coming back to to just sit down and spend some time playing. I definite ly think its a worthwhile buy for any fan of the genre, no you aren't going to get thousands of hours and huge build diversity but you do get solid mechanics and a repeatable game with enough build diversity.2 found this helpful
