Sex City: 2069

The dev cared about this game less than I did and that's saying something. To showcase this, the main character is voiced by AI which mispronounces multiple words (including the main characters name) which they decided to leave in the opening cut scene. The gameplay is slow (as in every single animation takes forever) and generally feels like crap. The sex scenes are entirely disconnected from gameplay and the models are so rigid and emotionless that it's actually uncomfortable to watch.

Are there better games for the amount of money this game costs? Yes. Is this game in pretty bad taste? Yes. Is the year 2069 a really bad pun? Yes. Is all the sex in this game generic? Yes. Do the graphics, story and gameplay feel like it could have been made like 20yrs ago? Yes. Does this game feel like a pretty cheap attempt at making you buy games because you're sexually frustrated. Yes. Will people think you are a weirdo for buying a game like this? Also yes. But if you are a weirdo, I don't think this game is as bad as many of the reviews proclaim. It looks dated and you really don't have to think playing, heck you will have another 100% completed steam game in no time (mind people will probably find you weird completing "this" game). It has some speed and like others said: a pretty driving soundtrack. Cyberpunk theme, tits, ass and violence! Real gameplay not a visual novel interactive story, heck there's almost no story present at all! I didn't encounter much bugs, hardly any actually. Controls are pretty wonky but doable, everything about this game is doable, it's a doable game.

Gameplay consists of two levels, and second one has only one purpose: to make you run through the same corridors long enough to pass the refund window. The gunfights aren’t hard, but they become even easier once you realize you can just press F to trigger a finishing animation in melee range. “Press X to win”, literally. The H-scenes try to involve the player – fully controllable camera, a “pleasure” gauge that fills based on your actions, etc. The problem? The execution is terrible and what sounds good on paper falls apart in practice. The models and animations are so bad you’ll struggle to find a camera angle where you see [i]less[/i]. At first, you think you can switch poses at will, but then you realize you have to, or gauge drops, dragging out this long, boring, and ugly interaction even further. I ended up scrolling through memes on my phone, only clicking to switch poses when needed. It’s more like cooking simulator, except you’re rotating a woman instead of BBQ meat. …

Seems decent. Controls are very wonky, though. Suggest getting on heavy discount.
