ShatteredPD's dungeon is procedurally generated with random layouts, room types, items, traps, and enemies. In each game you'll find equipment and collect or craft consumable items to power you up or help you out in a pinch. There is a huge variety to what you might see from run to run and region to region.
As you progress through the dungeon you'll find equipment that can be enchanted, upgraded, and augmented as you outfit your hero. Set foes ablaze with an enchanted weapon, wade through enemies with upgraded armor, or gain powerful damage, defensive, or utility benefits from one of the many magical wands, rings, artifacts, or trinkets.

Keep coming back to this one, mainly on my phone. On android this is a completely free game that is regularly updated with interesting features and quests. Countless hours of fun. Can't say enough good things about it. I bought it on steam because I wanted to support the developer. The PC release is faithful to the mobile game and I didn't find anything in particular that I disliked, but in my opinion it plays best on mobile. Due to the *offline* turn-based nature you can pick it up, pause and continue whenever you want. All characters feel unique, allow experimentation and a lot of different play styles. The rogue-like elements feel fair and I never feel like the *game* puts me in un-winnable situations. It has enough depth in the item, stats, talent and other systems that it feels engaging without overwhelming you. There are different biomes in the dungeon the further you descend and each area has it's own bosses, secrets, quests and mobs. The dungeon is randomly generated each run, but the generation feels coherent and I have never encountered a dungeon that feels incoherent or is broken. There's nothing more to this game than simple excellency. Initially mysterious, and relatively complex, but highly intuitive once you put your mind to it. Technically simple and accessible, I'm fairly certain most computers will run it, you can start a new run and save it in seconds, start many at a time, and it's turn based so you can even play it on the side while matchmaking or otherwise waiting. Decent variety in play styles, many random elements with well defined rules that will punish you for being impulsive and reward you for being clever even in the worst situations. You can even just play it for free on your phone, but frankly with the amount of time I've played it combined since initial release as just "Pixel Dungeon", I probably owe this game 3 purchases over honestly. If classic roguelikes, dungeon crawling and turn based are up your alley, the worst that can happen when you try this out is missing a few bucks. The best is that you'll have a simply good game for cheap.
