About Pax Ruthenia

You are the President of an independent European state. For years, one part of the country demanded the choice of the European way, the other demanded the Pro-Russian way. There's no more time to delay. Time to act. But should we listen to the people? Or is self-interest more important? Will the voter agree to give you a new term? And if so, not prison?

Key features

 • Form the state budget.
 • Determine the outcome of events
 • Make life-changing decisions.
 • Change state legislation.
 • And preserve territorial integrity!

Ukraine war simulator, but instead of the people helping you defeat the invader, they begin a maydan to get rid of you

Great Game, easy to grasp especially after they added the tutorial. Only complaint is that when you start finishing up the tree, your game crashes constantly.

It's like Crisis in the Kremlin, except it's more like you are Ukraine than Russia. Unfortunately the translation is a 'bit' off, and (so far), I've found the game to be so heavily scripted in events that trying to go your own way, even with careful planning, doesn't really work, and you rushed along a path that either agrees with your plans, or clashes and you quickly lose (or so that's my experience so far). Yes game looks like "Crisis in Kremlin" on minimal settengs. It is quite addictive if you are little bit keen on Ukraine conflict.

After watching the recent Russo-Ukrainian War, I became interested in Ukrainian politics and played this game, but in conclusion, I was very disappointed with this game. Rather than making players play a leading role in politics, the game forces players to find "appropriate answers" for each event in every national focus routes(pro-European, pro-Russian, and nationalist fascists), and players should passively find the right answers. Otherwise, players will lose a presidential election or be impeached by the parliament, or the capital will be occupied by protesters and so on. And the game is over. Even the events are repeated over and over, so the more you play, the less interesting you get, and basically the overall UI and variables are "unrealistic, not political, not economical." When I played the game many times, I finally found the successful answer and what-to-do pattern and eventually I could finish the game successfully, but this process made me very angry. Also, the English translation was terrible, but I won't criticize it because I think the developer did his best. However, I won't say it's the worst because it's an indie game. To put it positivel…
