this is a hard game to not recommend as it has a lot going for it. art style is great and occasionally the writing really nails it. however the majority of the dialogue is cringy and long that you will eventually skip all the dialogue. the card mechanics is really unbalanced and raising stats is incredibly grindy that eventually you will end up skipping all combat.

More booty than Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. ;)

Nice game. Simple minigames. Lots of fantasy elements. Designers have a lot of imagination. There is a dungeon crawler element based on Slay the Spire, but very simple version. Keeps you entertained though. One major issue, the dialogue is just plain too long. It's insane. In the scene with Linda and Tyra in the high as a kite world, the MC has to say a persons name out loud, and it literaly took over 70 lines of dialogue to do that. I play half of the game with fast forward because there's endless repetition and summaries of previous events. Please, please, please devs, shorten the dialogue for Bane of Passion.

This is not a card battler with sexy encounters, neither this is an RPG. This is a harem-style fantasy AVN with free roam and minigames, one of which is card-themed. Card game is unfortunately very shallow. As a MTG veteran and a connoisseur of such games I can tell you that competent spicy card battlers exist (like Take Me To The Dungeon!!) but that's not one of those. Here you mainly stack shield and hit foes. I haven't seen any interesting effects on cards that would inspire me to build around those, or faced enemies that would make me adapt. If you can't progress a dungeon - you can't really build another deck with a different idea/approach that would give you an edge, what you do is grind interactions with ladies until your stats increase, which automatically boosts cards you already have. There wasn't a single time where I felt excitement from finding a smart play that made a difference between a victory or defeat - all fights feel repetitive and dull. This all could be fine - there are plenty of harem-style fantasy AVNs with free roam and minigames that I thumbed up, but unfortunately VN part here is also not great. I'm really enjoying this game. It reminds of the old Sierra point and click RPGs, but a lot more adult. It's very casual, the mini games are simple, and though the card combat can be challenging, you can also completely skip it if you want. There is some redundant dialog, but it doesn't really bother me, as the characters are interesting, and the character development does a decent job of locking you in. I can't wait to see where the story goes!

Its a pretty fun game. Good dialogue, interesting characters, story was overall interesting. You have quite a decent amount of content for the price. I have played it to completion, done every quest for every character and unlocked all scenes, took me 40 hours total. Its well drawn and decently well animated. There is actual RPG gameplay here as a card battler, its difficult at first but once you manage to make a decent deck and raise some stats a lil bit it gets easier, was fairly easy at the end. I would say my biggest gripe is it just takes too long to upgrade skills and you don't really have a good reference in game of what cards exist to help you make a good deck, you basically find cards here and there and can get some cards by doing activities like training or smoking with the girls but it all takes an extremely long time so I didn't do much of it. Still highly recommend.
