Wicked Island

This is an Early Access review. I cannot recommend this game for the following reasons: 1. A little clunky. Yes it is early access so this should improve. The combat is a bit "off" to me and should by final release hopefully be smoother. Wait for it to leave early access if smooth combat is important. 2. The game suffers from the typical gooner game issues. All these scenarios where you can get punished and graped for losing a battle -- yet the developer doesn't even think to allow the player to pick hair on the crotch or not. It is bald. In a game where pregnancy is a thing yet you are in a survival setting where there are no salons to go get that full Brazilian wax done. Don't buy unless your fantasy is actually pre-pubescent females in a game that allows you to have HUGE breasts but no pubes. 3. The monsters look a little silly. Early game I felt like I was playing someone graphic design art project. This might improve by release but I do not know. If a dev wont give players options to slap pubes on a fully customizable character, I doubt they will have the work ethic to make things look better than they are. 4. The weather is annoying. I'm feeling compelled to leave a review of this game when I don't normally bother with writing them. First off, I started by playing the demo for about 2 hours and the first thing that I encountered that I didn't care for was the menu sound. Sound as in one singular loud obnoxious sound for all the menu interactions. I did end up turning it down but that also affected the in game sound effects from what I could tell. I did enjoy the demo however and decided to buy the game, so after downloading the full version I was surprised that the save wouldn't port over, and glad that I hadn't spent a great deal of time building up a base or doing anything substantial in the demo. After I started a new save I spent a good few minutes wondering why I couldn't cook raw meat in the campfire like I could in the demo. The furnace has the same functionality in both the demo and the full release so it was confusing that the campfire had been changed to only use recipes instead of keeping it like it had been. I would ask the dev to make it consistent to either the one way or the other. At this stage in our story I had a little base set up next to the fishermen's cottage and it is nice that he has…

Great base to build on but LOTS of bugs, Camera view is horrible scenery blocks views, Building does not snap properly, Its a hot mess..... Maybe later it will be decent enough to play... for the asking price STAY AWAY !!!! Refunded

This game lucks babysitting and tutorial so you may find it difficult to proceed - sometimes you walk into places you don't want to be in. But it makes me want to play. The character creation is great!

cool game to play. fun exciting, combat is decent, leveling is decent. over all is good. i want more quests in the game so i can keep playing. there is some stuttering or lag during combat tho.

TLDR: 7.5/10 Great game but great specs would make it greater The game is on the heavy price points but it does have a lot to offer. A stupendous character customization and a big map with lots of adventure and experiences you could have. There are quests and locations to be found which is a big plus; I do find myself coming back to this game and replaying it due to how much you can do which is great. There are a lot of scenes that you do have to go out of your way to find but the game is seriously unique a worth a purchase however, the game may crash due to the graphics so saving often is a must if your pc is similar to my specs.
