Fun Tennis game with career and online play. Has the standard hit, slice or lob option for each shot It takes a few games to get the hang of the shots, hold the button then push the direction you want. Supports Xbox 360 pad not sure about other controllers. If you want a fun game with player customisation, different courts in different countries, mini games and expecting the fun but not the variety of shots that Mario Tennis has then give this a go. I wanted to like this, but somehow it didn't convince me at all and I'm not sure why. It's probably the look of the characters, and the pacing (it doesn't feel like fast action). After I tried Super Blast Tennis I never wanted to go back to this.

I'm just going to say this and be kind about it, controls are trash, gameplay is trash! The characters are too damn slow to get to markers in time. Love the art style and the cutie characters, but too limited on models and menu controls are bad too, I knew right away it would be a problem. Commentary is terrible, and I hate that all the women characters, sound like they are having a orgasm everytime they hit the ball, I mean it's like they sample pornstars moans for the racket impacts. Game had potential and the gameplay ruined it.

Controls are very broken. So much so that I couldn't even get through the tutorial. The snapping works by snapping to the trajectory of the ball based on the position of the player, but not the right position for the spot it puts on the floor to show where the ball will land in front of the player. So, if you move forward toward that spot, it often snaps away from where you want to stand and messes up your shots. This is daft. Whatever, it doesn't work it's terrible. The lob - the tutorial says use the lob 3 times to hit the ball. There's a green area at the back of the court. No matter how many times I use the lob the ball went nowhere near the green area (the lob IS the B button right?) I asked someone else to help and they tried, too, but we couldn't get past it and eventually I had to give up. It seems like it could be a nice game, but it also seems like they released it too early and it needed another month or so of polish. I mean, the menus don't work with a mouse and by default the input is set to keyboard. So, if you wanted to play this on Steamdeck? You can't. Too many bugs and abandoned devs. Broken achievements too. It should be removed from the store ASAP. Don't buy.
