Sockpuppet Noire

Highly recommend this if you are looking for a fun noir detective game that's rewarding and not punishing like other games in the genre. You can feel the love and passion the devs have in the voice lines and writing. The sock puppet designs are also very clever and themed in interesting ways. I finished the first case in a few hours as advertised and had a blast. Definitely plan on going back for the other two and looking forward to future updates!

Funny delivery of very interesting stories. A good sluething game that really wants you to think. Only "complaint" I would have with this game, is that the puppets don't move their mouths and instead just "jump" to show speaking. That's it. Veeery important problem. ><

Case 1 finished. I can repeat that the not at all animated sock puppets is a bit disappointing. I changed some options and now my guy talks a it more with mouth animation, which i enjoyed. Other than that, i like that dialogue lacks the unnecessary back and forth talking like similar games sometimes have with lots of clicking continue on "see you" and "hello" etc. Nicely spoken long lines, so i even liked listening in real time and rarely skipped anything. The dialogues are in my opinion pretty much straight to the point without being boring. So i was hooked the whole time. I really like the 'gimmick' and the world of sock puppets.

Excellent game with a fun world and lots of deduction. Each case is about 1.5-2 hours long each, and there are 3 cases.
