Solas City Heroes

This is a very simplistic adult beat'em up with clunky controls. Can't recommend.

It is a sex based fighter game with an optional heavy BDSM and a myriad of options to be configured. Even own creationo of villains is possible. A short story (6 parts with 3 stages each with traps and loot). The DLC adds another part. IMHO if one likes those sort of games, one gets a lot for little money

I can not recommend this. There's no combos, there's no throws. There's no environmental destruction. It plays like a mid 90s side-scrolling fighting game. It sounds cool initially, but mashing punch gets old extremely quickly. Kicking is largely worthless. It recycles a bunch of content from the other games. That would be fine if the gameplay stood up on its own. It does not. To find it worth the price the game needs the following: Simple combos with utility. Combat grabs & throws/suplexes. Actual superpowers. "I'm durable" isn't a super power. Interacting with the environment e.g. climbing, jumping Enemies colliding into each other. Running. Counters. Flying. I may have only played half an hour, but in that half hour I saw extremely minor character customization, virtually no super powers of any kind, mashing punch button, constantly being downed & seeing recycled animations, boring, uninspired story. The list goes on. Seems unlikely that the next couple hours would be good enough to justify the price. I was extremely bored, annoyed and unimpressed. The price tag coupled with the extremely boring and uninspired gameplay resulted in a hard pass & refund.

The game has a simple premise, a heroine fights her way through various levels where villains try to defeat her by either fighting or by sexual dominance. During these fights the heroine suffers damage and indignations which make it harder to progress, she is stripped, bondage elements added such as ties corsets, gags, nipple clamps, vibrators, anal plugs all of which variously affect her abilities in either fighting or sexually dominating opponents. Progress through the levels allows you to earn credits which you can use to add outfits and improve the skill set of your heroine. So, sounds like a typical NSFW goon game? Well no, the gameplay is engaging with stacks of variety as the levels progress and there is a superb range of difficulty levels. Progression through levels adds interest so whilst the basic premise of fighting through a horde of villains remains there is plenty of variety and new challenges to overcome (50 hours to this point). But returning to my comment re the difficulty levels. If you're looking for something to get your rocks off, sure this is one of the better 'games' in my opinion. HOWEVER, I'm rating this as a fighting game. Power ups: pointless, the "advantage" they give is so small, you won't notice any change. Controls: Slower than molasses. No point in trying to make a combo. There's a one second delay between user input and character action. So blocking is effectively useless in this game. As a fighting game, it is trash for these reasons. Bugs: NPCs will just float either towards you or away from you, but the most annoying of all is that sometimes the game doesn't register that you defeated the level. So you're just stuck there until you decide to quit and restart the level again. I've tried to grind to complete the game. Technically I did beat the game, but due to the aforementioned bug, I didn't see the end game. 3 more tries later and I raged quit. The enemies are easy in the first 3 stages, but they get exponentially difficult in stage 4. By stage 5, you're just going based off of luck due to the controls being slower than two land whales copulating.

What can I say? It's a beat em up game where if you get knocked down, you can have sex with the thugs. It's a fairly okay game, definitely could do worse. I had some fun, at least.
