Two colonies struggle to survive post-apocalyptic Earth. In the NASA-engineered Ares compound, the Professor serves as an interpreter for the artificial intelligence known as ARORA. The other colony, NOAH, has sent a wasteland-hardened but enthusiastic expedition leader, Commander Ti, to assist in a mission of dire importance.Each colony has preserved its own facets of humanity, and neither truly knows how people used to live. So much has been lost, and the future struggles to survive without the knowledge of the past.

Tear jerker. Nice story-telling. It dragged on a bit with how many clues there were, but enjoyed it overall!
Emotional game but those emotions did not reach me, sorry. The plot was intriguing and the concept of an AI trying to piece together what happened with very little information was a bit funny but it does add to the story. In the first few minutes you could tell it's going to be a walking sim and that gameplay does not evolve much till the end, so walking sim haters beware. Also feel disconnected at the cartoonish art with the somber setting of absolute decay and decrepit. Yes sure I have a lot of things I liked, but I'm truly neutral to this game.
A very moving and wholesome story, told in a fun and beautiful way. It's not much of a GAME per se, but an interactive story. Fine by me, though. Definitely worth your time.
Part sociological commentary, part family chronicle (with a little romance for good measure), Some Distant Memory is a deep, character-driven exploration of love, technology, and what it means to be human. Weaving messages of civilization collapse, historical preservation, technological animism, and ecological recovery, Galvanic Games and Way Down Deep have offered hope with a gentle warning. Follow Professor Zay, Commander Ti, and ARORA on a journey through a small entry-point underneath the wasteland of Past Earth. Search through a buried and crumbling house to find glitchy holograms, weird art, and important relics while piecing together the inhabitant's memories and the history of "the Bloom". Maybe even find a remnant of growth somewhere along the way. As prescient now as it was on release, it is the evocative character design, atmospheric soundtrack, and unique storytelling mechanics make this game the perfect pairing for a cozy night in. Highly recommend.
A walking sim with zero gameplay. Just walk around and unroll the story. I found the writing a little bit trite, and WAY too wordy. However, emotionally, it hits the right tone, and that's what counts in the final impressions. Weakly recommended.
A wonderful game, beautiful music, story, everything, I finished it all in one sitting and loved it.
