About Somebody Save Snuffles

Snuffles the cat has gone missing. Save Snuffles by traversing various perilous 2.5D landscapes, and make sure the final boss gets sploded. You can choose a cosy pathway, or a medium-difficulty pathway, or even attempt the nightmare mode level. This game is a solo project by myself, Bryn, and I would value your feedback if you play the game. I would also love to know if you made it through the nightmare level.

✦ AI summary

Players consistently praise the game's charming art style, blending origami and personal artistic touches that create a storybook-like atmosphere reminiscent of games like Inside and Limbo but without dark themes. The platforming is well-designed with fair difficulty scaling, polished mechanics, and good checkpoint placement, though players note the game is relatively short in its current Early Access state and would benefit from story elements like intro/outro animations and additional completion markers to commemorate achievements.

I played through the game, I really love the art style and it was fun to play! I can't get over how cute the origami-like flamingo and clouds are. The mine levels with the crystals create a beautiful atmosphere and they are so nice to see. I can't wait to see more mechanics and more of the game! I completed also the "nightmare" level, I swear, it would be nice to have a completition mark on the level so I can brag about the levels I completed!

Writing a review of this this lovely game: Somebody Save Snuffles While i was playing i felt there was a feeling of being in a story like book, the stages add mystery, the background were lovely done with a mix of paper origami to Bryn's own art style and visuals, a very personal and children like flavor, like a mix of Inside and Limbo, without the horror or dark themes. The platforming sessions made sense, and they were fair at the beginning and had a harder feel later on. Its a very polished experience for Early Access Game from a single indie developer, i think with continuation and more effort, this can be a very good gem in long term. My wish would be that Bryn could implement some of his story telling and his awesome animation skills to have an intro movie and end movie. I will keep waiting for new version and keep playing this game. Summary: Lovely game, no bugs thati i encountered in Steam Deck, short game (early access) if you are a platformer addicted person, lots of heart and beautiful environments. If you know the dev and his art, then even better as you can feel this is a personal creation and crafted with intent. Good Job Bryn, please keep it up, you can tran…

Played the game from start to completion on Oct 26, 2025. It took me about 20 minutes, but I'm sure the game will get many more levels as it gets closer to release. The visuals are the standout here as I'm sure you can see for yourself in the game's trailer and screenshots. What surprised me was the gameplay, there's real depth to the platforming here, you have to pay close attention to how the environment behaves and time your movements exactly. The number of obstacles on each level is really well dialed in, so despite the instadeath you don't have to restart from too far back. I tested the game at the N1 (normal) difficulty, died about 15 times in total before finishing all levels. I am also working through the endgame of Hollow Knight right now, I'd say the platforming skills required at the aforementioned difficulty are on par with the non-boss parts of that game. If you have less routine with platformers definitely go for a lower difficulty instead! Great job on this sofar Bryn! (Just one tiny note if I may, please add different sound effects signifying death earlier rather than later. Hearing the same sample over and over at those crucial moments was fairly annoying by t…

Great art style, music and overall chill atmosphere make this a fun little platformer to play. There are a range of difficulties across different levels which make this accessible for any age or ability. I haven't been able to complete the nightmare level yet but I'm determined!
