Saving Mr. Sparkles is a tough platformer where you have to use your momentum to beat short but challenging levels. Your goal is to chase after your cat Mr. Sparkles, save him, and bring him back home.
The game has simple controls. Simply run, jump, and (in later levels) dash. Though using a controller is still advised.

yo this game is hard as hell but incredibly simple. You get better as you go on and you really start to notice your improvement as well. If you like games like super meat boy and trapland then this is the game for you.3 found this helpful
Cute little skill based platformer about trying to catch your cat who just doesn't want to come back inside for the night. The music is calming to relax as you do difficult manuvers and jumps and just pressing that button at the exact right time, and it feels great when you finally get it. if you really want to go all out, some levels have secret cat food to find, find them all if you really like a challenge and good luck. frustrating at times, worth it when you succeed, and for only $5 it's worth more than party sized bag of chips you were getting instead.1 found this helpful
just not fun at all. the main gimmick of the game is so clunky and the controls are awful. go play celeste instead and save your 5 dollars.
Controls have to obviously be solid for a game like this to feel rewarding to play and want to keep going. I just couldn't get comfortable with them here. Too frustrating. Maybe if I kept with it longer it would click eventually? Lost patience. Too many other great looking games in my backlog.
