I'm sad that I have to give this game a negative review but it quite frankly just does not work on the Steam Deck. You will have adequate performance up until a combat encounter happens and then the framerate will plummet into the bedrock, past robot hell from Futurama with the funny Bender man, and into the Earth's core. This keeps getting worse the longer the game goes on, and no, I don't mean a memory leak sort of thing, it's just a complete disintegration of the fabric of space-time that progresses in a linear fashion. If you play this on desktop though, hopefully you don't run into the same issue. I think this game has some cool ideas, I like the setting, the silly Sherlock quests, the surreality and surprising new enemy types. The Godot Engine unfortunately just can't quite handle it all.1 found this helpful
