I understand making indie games is a difficult task. However, I have to be honest. This game is bad. I was very excited by the concept of another underwater horror game. Unfortunately, this game fails in every department. The story isnt good. The translations are terrible. The options menu lacks basics such as lowering sound. Half of the game mechanics have no point. The two anti sharks weapons cant be used in water which, believe it or not, is where sharks tend to be. I could go on and on but this review would be five paragraphs. Save your money and buy literally anything else. Also I highly suspect the positive reviews are fake.

You would have to pay me a large amount of money to play this again Aside from the butt-rock metal, this is an indie gem and very worth your time

This was a rough game. I had a variety of technical issues, and to be blunt what you get is not really worth the trouble you may need to go to in order to get this to run properly. The game is a first person semi-walking simulator spread out over 8 chapters. It has inventory management, items which can be thrown, documents to read, and some swimming sections, but really a lot of these feel superfluous. For example, you have an inventory, but really you only need this for key items like keys or keycards that are required to progress. You can get healing items, batteries, and other things, but you almost never need these. I never in my whole playthrough needed to replenish my batteries for my flashlight, and only used them just to get them out of my inventory. There are only 8 slots, and this feels more like it was a design exercise than anything that adds depth to the game. There is a stress meter and items that lower your stress, but mine never went up. You are sometimes take damage because of certain scripted events, but after healing once you can get away with never taking damage again and not needing any healing items. If you liked Deep Blue Sea, you’ll enjoy this little adventure! I really liked the graphics, they create a great atmosphere for an older game. If you avoid using weapons (which is exactly what I’d do against the sharks = no chance!), the game still works well and actually builds tension. The controls for items are a bit clunky but manageable. The story is solid, and the objectives feel realistic. I just wish there were more shark games like this!

Rougher than shark skin (scales)! Could not finish my playthrough of this game due to a bug with the drowning time. Literally at the end of the game, too! A shame but not surprised as the game is lacking polish all over. The idea is great though and I'd love to see a decent shark thriller on here.
