"Space Mercenary Shooter : Episode 1" is probably an asset flip, it looks and feels like a bunch of Unity assets arranged badly into a kind of poor quality Quake/DooM boomer shooter ripoff, only worse, and incomplete (instead of making one proper game the developer tried pushing this through multiple chapters you have to buy... why burn $100 on Steam Direct publishing something nobody wanted, when you could burn $200?) What do you do in the game? It's a boomer shooter, but worse. Shoot stuff. Look at the assets and wonder what store they came from. You know the deal... nothing of value here. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just an hour. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. I'm not sure if this is an a…

It's a shooter as generic as the name would suggest. But, it was actually decently entertaining. You're a mercenary running around a spaceship, trying to blow it up and facing off against one enemy type. The guns controlled well and the movement felt good - the shotgun is definitely the best, having crazy range. There were a few issues... like enemies T posing in doorways and a couple lag spikes. It was mostly perfectly fine though. The objective marker at the top definitely helped as some levels felt very maze-like. I was able to finish it in about 30 minutes, with some added time to go back for some achievements. It was a decent little time waster and the right length... was worth it especially since it's free.

this just a shooter noting crazy you spend most of your time looting and running around the spaceship. The + easy achievements.

This is the first time in my life I've seen such crap...
