Space Ranger ASK is a classic arcade shoot'em up game, featuring asteroid blasting, spacemen rescues, UFO destruction, asteroid mining and Boss fights!
Control your spaceship using keyboard, mouse or gamepad, and blast your way through hundreds of action packed levels. Grab the powerups, shoot the aliens, defend your base, rescue spacemen and much more.
ASK is short for Arcade Shooter Kit, which means the game includes a fully featured Mission Editor, allowing you to create and share your own Missions on Steam Workshop.
The game includes 3 Missions, and 20 more from the developer is ready on the Steam Workshop for free. You will also have access to a library of Missions created by other gamers.

Space Ranger ASK - a great space shooter! In the game you have to perform various tasks on your spacecraft and defend the base. You are required to save astronauts, fight evil aliens, destroy asteroids and defeat bosses. We fly and distribute aliens under the real rave of the 90s from Ian Frank! You can collect various improvements and bonuses for your ship. With them to carry out the mission will be even more interesting and exciting! Also in the game there is a full-featured level editor in which you can create missions for every taste! I consider the main features of this project: - A variety of action levels - A lot of enemies, bosses and bonuses - Level Editor - Support Steam Workshop - Statistics of achievements - Great retro soundtrack - Ability to control from the keyboard, mouse and gamepad. Game is unplayable and looks like the devs abandoned the game Edit: Game works now, however, the achievement for 'upload a mission to the workshop' doesn't work as this game has no steam workshop.2 found this helpful

Space Ranger ASK takes you back to the good old days of Arcade Space Shooters in the best way possible! Accompanied by the sweet electronic tunes you set of on a quest to destroy Aliens and Asteroids, while keeping your base and allies safe! The game is enjoyable for anyone who liked spending their time with the Arcade games of the 80's & 90's. It's a complete feel of nostalgia when you sit down, plug in your joystick/gamepad (or play it on keyboard), and start up the game! I would recommend any arcade kids of the 80's and 90's to try this game out!1 found this helpful
