About Space Scaven

What is your dream job? Something connected with deep space, strenuous thinking and extreme situations? If so, you've come to the right place.
We are "Space Scaven", a company which renders a very special service... We collect space garbage, but not just any garbage, only garbage that could be well paid. The main objective of our company is to search for onboard recorders on abandoned space stations. The cause of abandoning is none of our business, we're only in it for the money. That's where you get into the game.

You are an engineer and you're job is to collect these black boxes. To do so, you should solve physical puzzles, avoid traps and interact with environment.

Puzzles can be solved in different ways, but some actions lead to a dead end or even a fatal outcome. The game has 50 levels, divided into 5 episodes, so you are in a long, dangerous and interesting journey!

Features:
  • Original soundtrack;
  • Interaction with surrounding objects (boxes, buttons, doors, lasers, etc);
  • Equipment: a hook is used to carry objects, a laser pistol - to remove obstacles, a welding set - to repair broken facilities (you're an engineer after all!);
  • When spacewalking or hanging out in a depressurized module – watch your oxygen level;
  • Accidental encounters with extraterrestrials and many more!

A very neat puzzle game with the pixel atmosphere of Dead Space. Massive amount of levels, solid mechanics and a good level design. For the asking price, this is absolutely great.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

A solid 1$ puzzle. For a bundle game this is actually quite engaging. Not disappointed. The game does not lack in variety and gets the introduction of new mechanics very well. The game designer from this should go for something bigger than this.

I started this game with hopes of completing it quickly. Turns out this puzzle game is a little more involved than I thought. You are a lone space engineer armed with a hook to pull things around (which could be you, at times). You arrive at various abandoned space stations and are tasked with recovering at least one data recorder, presumably to understand the fate of the station, before you can move on. The beginning two thirds of the game is fun with some challenging puzzles. I recovered all but two data recorders in the first thirty levels. Then the game introduces alien bugs and everything goes downhill. Bugs are super perceptive, hard to kill, and will bite you. Two bites and you are dead. Since they run faster than you, it is a given they will chase you down. The bugs wouldn't be so bad except for two game design elements: sloppy controls and your hit box. I understand that things are hard to move in space. However, in a precision puzzle game when you need to move objects in the proper orientation to the proper location under duress where if anything is wrong you die isn't fun. It also seems that your hit box is about three squares big when you are carrying something, even…
