It's World War II and you are B.J. Blazkowicz, the Allies' most valuable agent. In the midst of the German Blitzkrieg, the Spear that pierced the side of Christ is taken from Versailles by the Nazis and secured in the impregnable Castle Wolfenstein. According to legend, no man can be defeated when he has the Spear. Hitler believes himself to be invincible with the power of the Spear as his brutal army sweeps across Europe. Your mission is to infiltrate the heavily guarded Nazi stronghold and recapture the Spear from an already unbalanced Hitler. The loss of his most coveted weapon could push him over the edge. It could also get you ripped to pieces.

just like playing on my dads tandy in 1993
I just loved playing this game!
Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny . The game is a prequel to the original Wolfenstein 3D, and it's really cool to encounter enemies that are linked to the characters and events of the original game! Spear of Destiny plays just as cool as the original. You wander through a maze, looking for the keys to the doors and shoot pixelated Nazis with a variety of weapons. Remembering where you've been and where you haven't without a map is great challenge. The music and visual style are very unique and memorable. It's incredibly satisfying to discover secret treasure rooms and defeat epic bosses. . Controls: Arrows - move Shift - run Space - open door Ctrl - fire Alt - strafe 1 - knife 2 - pistol 3 - Submachine Gun 4 - Chaingun Y - yes N - no
It's Doom II but for Wolfenstein. If you liked Wolf 3D and want another 21 levels by Id Software, this is it. The Mission Packs are a bit different, though, they're more like Final Doom. The level design is more creative/gimmicky and the sprite changes don't look great, but a little variety is nice. They also added a bunch of new tile sets and props, so it manages to feel like a novel experience despite the simple gameplay. You should think of them like mods for the game.
Its old school.
This game, and Wolf3D will forever be classics. Been playing both sense I was a kid in 1992. They are the grandfathers of the FPS genre. Everybody should play these games.
