Fun game, maybe add a little 2 frame animation to the main for walking

"Specter Inspector" is a student project from Digipen. One of the first things students should be taught in game development is that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's with dedicated 3D cards like the Voodoo3 and the ATI Rage. But the students were deliberately mistaught that's it's okay to release obsolete 2D games in the 3D era of gaming... certainly any professional developer seeing a prospective new hire who doesn't even know about 3D gaming probably isn't going to give them a job. Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. This is a very poorly made "interactive desktop" game where popups appear on your desktop as part of the game, ostensibly so you can defend your desktop from malware by dealing with the popups. Wow, it's like I've gone back to the 1990's and installed a bunch of browser toolbars and now I have popups constantly. This was not an experience anyone actually wants. So yeah, this is a terrible idea for a game, and implemented badly, but the worst part is the students at Digipen paid money to learn how to make games and they got taught to make this instead, perhaps as a joke from t…

Cute lil spooky game and pretty creative!

I almost gave this a positive review because it's attempting a unique concept but that concept is largely designed to annoy the player. I could have given it a pass with square hitboxes but the hitbox that only occupies 2/3 of your character is annoying when your field of view is so limited. Finally once they introduce the EMP mechanic you realize this is more or less a puzzle game that is as annoying as possible to execute.
