About Spider-Robots War
Spider-Robots War
- a strategy game against artificial intelligence, in the style of science fiction.The year is 2318. The Third World War brought great destruction. Humanity was forced to descend into the dungeons to escape the radiation. Huge robot machines, designed by scientists, were sent to different planets in order to collect resources and find a new home. But even on other planets, the competition between nations continued to grow. The robots were getting bigger and bigger, and their weapons were getting more powerful. So another war began. A war between robots. A real-time strategy game where all units are spider robots.
Key features of the game:
- Collecting resources;
- Build a base and deploy it anywhere;
- Create a variety of spider robots (each part of the body can be changed to your choice);
- 5 levels to complete.
Note: The game has a specific algorithm for moving units, there may be problems with their movement, but you can get used to it.
What Steam players say

Spider-Robots War is a low-effort RTS that suffers from severe technical issues, particularly with unit pathfinding, AI behavior, and combat mechanics that feel fundamentally broken—units get stuck frequently, can't target moving enemies properly, and workers take nonsensical routes. While some players acknowledge it has basic fun potential if you enjoy tank-style games and can overlook its flaws, the overwhelming consensus is that it's a poorly executed cash grab with minimal effort put into core gameplay systems, making it a frustrating experience even at its budget price point.
Spider-Robots War is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, Laush Studio. These guys (or just one guy flipping accounts to mislead gamers) do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. This time they've asset flipped a Unity RTS engine, put some robot/spider assets on it and called themselves game developers. It's clunky, badly made and has no merit as a serious game. It's just a cash grab. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this look…8 found this helpful
The game itself is fine, although it lacks a plot and the combat mechanics are quite improvable, it can still give you a bit of fun if you like tank games of this type.1 found this helpful
If you want to be frustrated by units getting stuck all over the place the buy this. There is no improvements. This could have been a great game but it fails. 5 stages only and like the other reviews the enemy cant be shot while moving unless they in front of your unit. I nearly gave up completing this game but its not worth my time an effort. The units path finding will give you stress.1 found this helpful
One of the worst games I have ever played. The AI is frustratingly hindered, bots push each other out of the way, workers go WAY out of the way of what seems like a logical and short path, you can't damage enemies that are moving? To sum it up, I only paid $0.50 but I feel like I should be requesting a refund... It looks like a cool little game in the video and screenshots but just has so much lacking. Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich, you need to do better my friend.1 found this helpful
this isn;t a game .. its a failed attempt at a RTS. not worth the 50 cents i wasted on this.. pathing is horrible. instructions aren't translated properly. WHY IS THIS EVEN AVAILABLE????1 found this helpful
Some reasons to buy this game: 1) You already play a lot of terrible games and want some premium garbage. 2) You are making your own RTS and you want to have an excellent example of what not to do. 3) You're curious to experience an RTS made without the concept of "pathfinding" or "don't have parts of the map poking through the fog of war". 4) You are making an RTS as part of a game jam or student project and you want to see how low the bar can be set. All joking aside, it doesn't seem like an asset flip to me. I don't know of any Unity templates that are this uniquely bad. This seems like a sincere effort, just not done with the competence you'd normally demand from a cheap commercial product. I don't recommend anyone play it except for educational purposes. If you want to be able to say "I know for a fact that my game is not as bad as Spider-Robots War" then in that specific case, I highly recommend playing through this. It doesn't take long to finish and the last level is actually a decent challenge.
