About Spirit of Europe - Origins
The Spirit of Europe - Origins is a free edutainment jRPG independent game, developed in Unreal Engine 4. Embody a fragment of the mythical Europa and travel through history from the ancient times to the Renaissance, through the realm of thoughts and emotions, where spirits fight for supremacy over human consciousness. Experience a humanistic metaphor of historical events as we know them, possess over a hundred characters, drive their actions and witness their consequences in pivotal events of Europe’s past.

Playing 4 100 minutes to reach the keyjoker´s reward, wait 4 hours about system want to recognize it, and finally the reward dissappears affects too much to my games oppinion.11 found this helpful

4/10 Historical RPG+TBS TLDR: Walls-of-text onboarding hints at lack of playtesting. Empty dialogs with NPCs are probably due to bugs. Despite good intentions, the game simply isn't really playable. Good: - free (EU-funded since it's historical) - nice 2D UI graphics - some interesting historical info - interesting idea of switching between the spiritual world and the physical world, possessing humans and talking through them So-so: - okay-ish 3D graphics though the field of view of the camera is weird, and the objects which are closer to the camera get skewed too much. Also, the game is poorly optimized. "Auto-detect" button in the gfx options screen chooses "High" gfx quality for me, with that setting I can barely play. Even on the "Low" gfx level, it's laggy, though not as much. Maybe it's the post-processing blur effect doing this, as the lags are much worse in the blurry spirit world compared to the physical one - when you start the game, there is a weird dialog urging you to register on some website, otherwise you will lose some important opportunities or whatever. Were they making this app an obligatory part of curriculum at some educational institution? - walking is very…2 found this helpful
The starting story and game play aren't easy to follow. A lot of texts require me time and brain power to understand. Poor artwork. Battle and possession aren't fun. Bad to be a spirit to haunt people and fight ghosts.1 found this helpful
